Sorry to hear about this. Everytime I see a Ford truck damaged or totaled, I piece of me dies with it. I think " you could have been so much" or " you'll never be the same". J/K Does suck tho but your right, it could have ben worse and it's all replaceable. As a foot note, the one Impala was bleeding pretty bad and it made me nausiated, thanks for the "graphic" disclaimer

I miss my truck soooo much....
so in the mean time I sit here researching stereo equipment... LOL

Glad to hear/see the truck's on its way back home. One of my needs/wants is to hear the stereo with the windows open on the parkway, stock speakers aren't cuttin' it.

It is fortunate no one was hurt. I bet her insurance company loves her!!! Did she have to rent 3 cars to boot?
My biggest complaint when an accident like this happens is now your brand new truck will have a major accident on it's history. That really damages resale or trade in.
I think the law should make her pay cash directly to you for whatever the loss of value.

Michigan does not care about you, just the insurance company. My wife was side swipped by a driver with no insurance and no license. The cops knew who he was and saw the car parked down the street. Still waiting for my deductible to be returned to me from the driver. He has been in jail since, but I have now recourse on getting the money. I have been to court and won the settlement but nothing and the state don't care. So much for being a no fault state, just a way to raise insurance cost.

I think technically you can get your judgement enforced... I believe that is one of the duties of your county sheriff... I won a judgement against my ex-wife and was looking into that kind of stuff... however we ended up just garnishing her wages...

That's what the judge told us to do, but when he does not have a job it's hard to do. Oh well the only thing we can do is to keep trying.

After seeing this, I am Glad I live in the Country,,,and the most I worry about hitting my truck when parked is maybe a Branch, Bird Crap, Pollen, Snow, ETC.,,Glad your truck is all fixed !

The poor GMC has had a rough life... beside get rear ended, I also hold the record at work... I once hit 4 DEER AT ONCE with it!
