Thanks guys!

Just got off with the Body Shop... right now they are at $5200... they are still do a bit more inspecting. But they have already started ordering parts yesterday..

The one that is puzzling is how the back side of the mirror got broke but yet the side doors and running board were untouched... LOL

Still waiting to hear about the GMC...

and of course my brushed aluminum dash kit showed up yesterday! LOL! Was packaged kind of poorly and some of the pieces were "bent". They appear to be pieces I wouldn't use... one main piece does have a small "bend"... may end up sending it back... ARGH!

Hey.
Side Question...

The bed was torn there on the drivers side. Do they replace the complete bed in a situation like that or can they only replace the "skin" on one side??

Disclaimer: Not a body man - although I have welded up some old Jeep bodies

At this point they are looking at just replacing the outside skin of the bed. The bed itself appears to be ok. Apparently the one corner has a small "wrinkle" that they believe they can straighten out... if not we go from there...

When the GMC got hit the last time they replaced the outside skin and one panel of the bed. Bad thing was they went to a different place and had a different kind of liner sprayed in and was a very different shade of black... at that time i really didn't care... HOWEVER this time I told the body shop if they need to respray, they are going to take make it match! LOL

Going over to the body shop this afternoon to walk through the estimate...

Definitely sucks, but I have to be the smart *** here and say - I'd quit parking on the street if I were you.

Limited parking... neighbors never seem to have a problem... I've parked my other cars there, never an issue... just seems to be black trucks and Impalas...

I will however be more than willing to accept your DONATION to help expand my driveway!

Well I talked to the body shop manager where the GMC is at... Explained that the GMC had been hit twice now by an Impala... Then I asked him to remove the magnet. He was "what magnet?"... The frigging Impala magnet! LOL

Ouch. Sorry to see that. Hope you get it back to the way it was.

Time to rethink the parking pecking order. The truck should definitely be in the driveway!

Sorry to hear and see your misfortune. It sure sucks when it is a brand new truck. The GMC looks as if the rear axle is bent or moved forward. That gal had to be going way over 25 mph to do that much damage to 2 trucks and totals her Chevy.

Every time I read the title of this thread, I think blood and gore as in "GRAPHIC", not "graphic" as in big pics

LOL! Yeah... in the past when I've posted twisted metal pictures of my Mustang and Camaro (FRIGGIN' DEER!) I got yelled at for not posting a warning that the thread contained pictures of the damage to my beautiful cars! LOL
