need help!!! E40D problems
Ok i have a 93 f250 4x4 7.3 idi with a E40D trans (rebuilt about 35,000 miles ago). My problem is when i shift into reverse 2or 3 sec after i do so it shifts really hard into reverse n makes a clunk sound
. It does it very slightly when i put it in drive. The trans also sqeels or whines when i give it gas in reverse but not in drive, but when im driving my truck takes a long time to shift between 2nd 3rd n 4th gears unless i let off the gas for a sec. There is a little extra fuild in the trans also, would a flush filter n the rite amont of fluid stop all this or am i look at buying a new trans thx for all ur help
