F250 Fun

I am not generally the kind of guy to race around and drive fast, but yesterday I made an exception… After picking up what I roughly estimate to be about 1200 lbs of block the first stop light I came to I was next to a little civic with aftermarket exhaust on it. The kid was just taching it up and trying to stare me down (a bit tough from the window of a civic to the window of a 250). He had a couple friends in the car that were just egging him on, so I figured what the heck. I gave her a little throttle and let him know I was in. Started spooling up when the other lights turned yellow, and layed in about half throttle on green. He was already behind just making his little civic scream. He gained a little so I just gave her hell and pulled away pretty quick. I let off and headed my way home, and I could see when he went by his friends were laughing pretty good that his modded little hot rod couldn’t even beat a big ole truck. My truck is bone stock and I had about 1200 in the bed, and gave him a pretty good whoopin’. Like I said, this is not something I do often or really at all, but it was fun once. Now if I had the exhaust, turbo, injectors and other things done I would like to do, it would have been really fun. But then I have a feeling I would be paying for tickets and fuel a whole lot more than I do now! Besides, with the turbo sticking issue I just fixed I figure I should blow the cobs out every once in a while!

Putting 'riceboys' in there place! Sounds like he needed a bigger spoiler and some more stickers.

Coffee cans? FART cans are more like it. I see so many of those rice rockets in my neck of the woods, that all it does is make me shake my head. Most of them are in such rough shape that I would love to see them being pulled off the road. But hey, they are just kids anyways. They know better than us, right?
