Is there a classified paper in your area? Called trader here, specifically "The Ol Mountain Trader". It's under a buck and loaded with vehicles. I don't have this weeks paper but normally you will find 15-20 and sometimes up to 30 trucks of that year. What you are looking for would be a harder find but I found mine. 87 and up are also plentiful and if you go all the way back to 82 then you have an almost endless supply of possibilities.

The local newspaper however rarely has more than 10 vehicles total. I'm assuming due to cost, since it's free to advertise in the trader paper. Check ebay also, but search local, and try to negotiate a look-see before bidding. Once you win, it's yours whether it runs or not.

Not sure how far you want to travel, but this site has a few, and I missed a decent 88 with only 65,000 miles a month ago on Ebay.

I bought both my trucks on craigslist and sold my old truck on there.

My 95 F150 I bought from a small used car dealer. My son spotted it and knew i was looking. Got a good deal and the dealer was great. Let friends and relatives know that you are looking.

Some of the single cab trucks look really sharp compared to the extended cab, im going to consider this as well while im looking.
