EFI 351w valve covers?

I see cars with aftermarket valve covers, but can't find any for the 351w. I bought a B&W Tranny Pan, hardest $200 I've forked over for the Bronco, but when I got it I felt like it was a steal at that price. I don't think I'll ever have to worry about my tranny not sealing up again.. but I'm still fighting my valve covers, like with my old tranny pan, I've done EVERYTHING to get them to seal and they just wont do it, they're 20 years old, it's time to replace them.

Anyways, are there good quality valve covers anywhere? something with tough and/or thick edges that will look nice on my Bronco and still fit under my upper intake?

Thanks guys

Oh, if I didn't stress it enough. If you hate your tranny pan (hard to seal, ugly, whatever) and have an E40OD, you HAVE TO pick one of those pans up.. it's the one from BroncoGraveyard. Someone had screwed the threads up in my tranny for the pan holes overtighetning and the bolts included were able to grab on to every single hole except for one, just extra awesomeness. There is no way fluid is getting out of my tranny now. I dunno how many quarts of fluid and gaskets and even labor (once, was $75 labor actually, never again) I've spent money on to seal this thing, shoulda just picked this pan up in the beginning.

I too have been looking around at valve covers and most of the ones I see are not for EFI. And alot then will say "does not clear intake on 5.0 EFI" , does that mean, I assume, that it also will not clear on a 351w?

New - Livernois Motorsports - Black Satin 1986-93 5.0L/302 & 5.8L/351 EFI Ford Motorsport Truck Valve Covers

Its interesting that this says it will work for our 351w EFI truck motors, but won't work on a Lightning.....what gives?

That site priced them as Each. Was that true? over 200 for the pair? Or is that price for the set.

lightning runs a different intake than normal 5.8 truck, also a W is taller and wider than a 5.0.

Non-EFI valve covers still won't let upper plenum clear the driver's side cover. Doesn't matter if its a 302 or a 351W. The difference in height is significant enough to affect either engine.

I payed 130 or so for my pair. Also, learned you want the truck covers because the car 302s have the filler and pcv on opposite sides.

Hey, if you tihnk they're too expensive for valve covers, trust me when I say they aren't. The baffles are slightly redesigned, stopped sucking in oil through my PCV and breather. I also get better oiling to the rear of my motor because of it.
The rear holes are clogged or just undersized, I dunno, but it would pool up in the rear and leak out with my old covers no matter how careful I was with gaskets. With these new ones, I get no leaking whatsoever and plenty of oiling, it's possible because I'm getting more pressure to the rear, better PCV operation, etc, that it has even cleaned up this part of the engine. which, all of us know, sludge REALLY quickly in these 351Ws.

Just, well worth the money.

if you run a delo or rotella diesal grade oil you wont have sludge issues at all ever. these oils are also better for the motor.

Tried that with my f150, I blame that oil for my worn valves. Thinking about running some through this bronco though, motor has 200+, the thicket oil should help with my excessive blowby.

And yeah, it's the 15w40, motorcraft has a cheap semi synthetic in a cheap gallon jug I'm putting in next oil change.
