Shifter console removal.
Bought a new '03 Ranger the other day. How do I remove the shifter console. I have a 5 speed/4 cylinder. I need to remove the console to mount something on it and don't see any screws holding it in. Got a few miles on me and don't crawl around as good as I used to so any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Tim.

Shifter console removal.
Try pulling back the carpet, and see if there are bolts/screws under there... If not, then the thing is probably held in with those push-type fasteners, and all you have to do is give her a good yank. My bet is that it's bolted, and the bolts are accessible under the carpeting somewhere... Hope tbhis helps!
