Cats

Yes according to my mechanic he changed all the plugs probably about a year ago, maybe I should change them again just in case they are foul again. The tuck has been sitting for about 3 months.

i had been battling a bad running truck for a few months. Had my cats checked at a random Muff shop 5 months prior and was told they were good. Kept looking at plugs and changing them out for the 2nd time and replacing the COPs. Truck was getting worse by the day. Went to MY muffler shop (guy that i take all my mustangs to), and driver side was clogged. Was just happy to know what was wrong, and just had him put some straight pipe in.

dburga, if your truck has been sitting for 3 months I hope it isn't filled with ethanol. If so I hope you have a good ethanol gas treatment in the tank. This could cause problems with engine perfomance. Hope you can get her running soon.

2004 f150 stalling

I have a 2004 F150. I have it currently straight piped while waiting for an exhaust we are buying. I recently put in a Edge Power Programmer chip and a Airaide cold air intake. Since making these modifications my truck stalls when I come to a stop after accelerating quickly for any period of time. Would you think that this is a exhaust issue or an issue with the chip and cold air intake? I run premium through my truck and just got an oil change a couple days ago. My computer isnt throwing any codes whatsoever making it harder to figure out what is wrong. Another option we thought about was it being an 02 sensor issue as well. Just wanted to get some input on the issue.

The canned tunes in the Edge programmer are intended to be used on a stock truck (i.e. no exhaust mods, intake mods, etc)

If you want maximum, safe, performance from your Edge programmer, then call the guys at Power Hungry Performance and have them convert the Edge to Gryphon with their custom tunes:
Power Hungry Performance - About Us

Also, 2004 & 2005 MY trucks did not respond well to aftermarket intakes...as they tend to run lean after an intake is installed.

I agree! Some people have a tendancy to get carried away with their performance mods.
