'06 Eddie Bauer Expedition, 5.4l. How do I get to the IAC valve to clean it. Auto Zone told me that they could not get individual parts for the throttle body only the entire assembly, but I should be able to clean it with throttle body cleaner. Advance can get the valve, but also said that I could clean the one in it now. Suggestions?
Then why am I getting a code that reads "Idle Air Control Valve Stuck Closed"?
Do I have to replace the entire throttle body?
Code numbers don't read as text, and generic descriptions are no good for the codes. What's the code number? Ignore ANY description the Autozone parts monkey gave you.
ETC modulars do NOT have an IAC. Period.

Don't remember what the code number was, but the code reader did show the statement in text. They did, however, tell me that the parts computer said that it wasn't serviceable and referred them to the entire throttle body assembly.

It's hard to diagnose exactly what's going on when they are using their "parts sales" code reader and they don't give you the actual code. The IAC function is controlled via the throttle body. You can replace the entire assembly if you want to spend the money, but my suggestion would be to check the assembly for anything that's causing a binding or sticky operation. The TPS may also be bad, and it IS separately serviced-you just have to find the right vendor to be able to get it.

I can get the TPS thru Advance Auto Parts for about 75 dollars, I was assuming that was the issue until I let them read the code. I am guessing that the TPS is plugged into the throttle body on the drivers side?

There are 2 devices attached to the throttle body assembly that matter in this case. The throttle actuator motor on one side, and the TPS on the other.
The TPS could be bad and is reporting an incorrect throttle angle, or the actuator could be bad and it's not able to open the throttle blade quickly or smoothly enough to maintain a steady idle. It could also be something causing the throttle blade to stick or drag.
