HPOP Mods

So I'm down in florida visiting my parents and going through the garage I found my original HPOP. I believe it was just the fittings leaking but i never looked into it just replaced it with a reman. What are my options? Through searching I found that joey can mod them. I just never found his website or phone number. Is it worth getting it modded? Also is there anyone else who does it?

Stock AD's use alot of oil. With a good tuner the modded *17 pump would help a good bit. To the best of my knowlegde there isn't anyone else that really mods these pumps, and certainately none that do what Joey does with one.

Here is what Joey told me in an email

To build the T500(replacing your swashplate with my improved one) is $250 plus shipping. The biggest difference is the new swashplate utilizes a bearing in the rear to support the shaft and I use a better internal snap ring then Bosch uses. I'll guess that flow may be slightly increased as well(still waiting for data logs to come in, kind of new to the market).

Hope this helps. Cant wait to get my modded hpop in!!!

One of the best things I've bought thus far is the HPOP pressure guage. I was going to change my HPOP (it has 354000 miles on it) when I did my injectors and turbo. I was told by the wise souls on here to leave it be. I'm glad I did. Now the Single Shots use less oil than the stockers I know, but pressure difference, according to the guage, is negligible.

Just my .02..
