96 02 sensor
My 96 4.0 bank1 sensor2, (after cat) 02 sensor went out and i put in a new one and cleared the code, now I have driven over 100 miles and all moniters are checked acceppt the cat moniter. No cel has been displayed,
I need to smog this,any ideas? thanks

You need to drive more. The computer wants to see all the sensors working under varying conditions. Exactly how long this takes can vary, , but try going at a variety of real world speeds, and just give it some time. The earlier OBD-II systems, aka 1996, can take longer to reset. I remember it took a while to get my dad's '96 Ranger 2.3L to get ready after some evap emissions parts were repaired and the codes were cleared.
