WHY
Why do you need squirters ? It will freeze in midair. LOL I don't have a tilt front but have run the ???? though my mine. I was thinking you would have to have alot of hose first and maybe run it along the edge of the hood to the back brace.

I'm in the process of wiring my truck right now. I just mounted a washer bottle to the left inner fender and ran the wiring. I'll have to drill a hole in the firewall, then run the hose up under the cowl to the squirters. The squirters will be next to the wiper shafts. I took several styles of squirters from various cars in the junkyard. I'll have to drill a small hole, then file a notch for it to snap into.

Yes, I've been eyeing up that $50 squirter if I can't find one that works out from another vehicle. But $50 seems like alot for such a small part. That's the information I was hoping to get from some of you fellows. The ones I have now squirt really good but in order for it to hit the middle section of the windshield I'd probably have to instill it dead center in the hood because of the different angle from a modern car compared to the 56. I would actually like to see where that squirter is mounted on the hood, anybody?

My son just received an LMC catalog this weekend. In it there was a generic washer kit. I think it was about $20. Like I posted above, I'm using junk yard components. The nozzles will be as far forward on the cowl as possible, but they may still squirt low on the windshield. IIRC, older VW's had a nozzle that could be adjusted or aimed by using a pin.

Personal opinion, if you want to minimize window scratching when washing dirt off the windshield, I think they should spray just above the parked position of the blades. That's what is so nice about the ones that clip to the blade, they always spray in front of the blade.
Where snow/de-icing is involved, I can't say
