Looking for response from someone with suspension knowledge.
I have been considering getting a daystar leveling kit, the one that is a spacer for the coil spring. Anyway, so if I put this spacer in, it will reduce my front chamber somewhat. Not sure what the stock chamber angle is with the front suspension loaded, but I know it would be less with the spacers, That being said, my question is: Would I be able to correct the chamber(i doubt it but maybe) and if I don't correct it, how detrimental would it be as far as tire wear and cornering. I know we need some chamber to counter act the tire roll and body roll in corners.
ive also considered drop shackles.
i want to reduce the unloaded rake, but id prefer to raise before i lower, even though it is 2wd
input appreciated.
I'm with you on this. I just installed the daystar leveling kit and I can't get my camber figured out. I just installed drop brackets but I still have some positive camber. I think the next step would be camber bushings? Hopefully someone can help on this.
you have positive chamber? dang pics?
i know some negative is stock, but i just figured the spacer would reduce that or make it close to 0
does anybody have these spacers im talking about on a 2wd
Ya i have positive camber. The alignment shop told me i was about 2 degrees off and needed to get camber bushings. I will try to get some pics up today.
