Anybody know what the stock rim width is on my 2005 F350 King Ranch SD CC DRW ? I'm looking at bigger/wider tires...and am curious if a 315/70/17 will be ok on that rim. The truck is stock height. Any other sizes you would recommend ? I already bought the 2" spacers from Arrowcraft. Thanks guys.
Im pretty sure it is 7.5". Check the manufacturers recommended minimum rim width of the tire you are considering. I would say no with that size. Im using 285/75/17 Nitto terra Grapplers on my factory 17x7.5 rim. Nitto recommends a minimimum 7.5" rim for this tire. They are about a 34" tall tire. Some wider tires will fit a smaller rim but it can become a safety issue which i wouldn't chance especially on a heavy SD.
Sorry, i kind of jumped the gun. I didn't realize you had the DRW. Im not really familiar with the DRW set-up and not sure what your wheel width would be. I guess they could still be. Im sure someone will chime in and smack me up side of the head then help you out. Again i appoligize.
