2000 cube van was running terrible at idle. Changed spark plugs and found 3different types of plugs but truck used to run fine? Bought a code reader and there was no power to the OBD plug, found gps was powered by fuse plug and the fuse was burned so I disconnected gps (cause I have a map anyway) and replaced fuse then I got a 0 reading on code reader???
Its pretty much a given on these forums that the V10's are real choosey about spark plugs and require MotorCraft. Seems like that's the place to start as far as the rough idle. If that doesn't help I'm sure you'll progress to COP's.
Try cleaning the IAC. (idle air control) And yes the cigarette light and OBDII are run of the same fuse, at least on my truck. That is stupid IMO but thats the way Ford did it.

Gotta agree with this but there are a few circuits that one would never logically think were protected by the same fuse. My '00 E250 does have the lighter and additional power port connector but even so the DLC and lighter share the same 20 amp fuse-----power point has a 25. I'm guessing Ford assumed there'd never be a higher load on the lighter since it was never used for anything else.
Sometimes nothing beats a lot of experience OR good fuse panel map! <!-- / message -->
I'm just going to dump it on a mechanic, I have another work truck I can use for now. If I'm going to use my nonworking time on a truck it will be a fun truck...
I brought in a mechanic to my shop on a horse trade for a 7.3 with service body. He had me replace some parts which ford parts store was happy to supply for a nominal fee. None of these parts made any change at all.
Then while looking around under the hood in a circumstantial rage my finger found a soft spot in the PVC line deep under the throttle body so I started the engine and then placed my finger on soft spot, runs like a top.
