thermactor diverter valve

1979 351m CA Bronco. These valves are between the pump and engine to divert backfire. My D5ZE-EA valve has a hole in it. Found a junkyard replacement off another 79 truck D5ZE-CB . Would this be an ok swap.
Couldn't find any info. Anyone know?

The diverter valve alternates fresh air from the smog pump either into the heads or into the catalytic converter. The air injection pushes exhaust back through the EGR when the diverter is sending fresh air into the heads. When it is routing down to the cat., the fresh air is providing the needed oxygen to increase catalytic converter temperatures higher than combustion cycle temperatures. Frankly, I didn't even know 79's had them. They didn't change much if at all over the years... As long as it has the same vacuum and Thermactor hose connections as the original, it should function the same way.

Agree ,I'll give it a shot. These are obsolete parts. My original has a yellow band noting part number and the JU one has pink but matching hose connections.
Thanks
