The emmision reset switch on mine is under dash, pass side. open the glovebox, push in sides so it falls all the way down, straight up underneath, if key buzzer works, right next to it. Try disconnecting your battery cables, and touching them together. This works for the OBDII systems, not sure if it will work for OBDI, but worth a try. Cheers.

As was posted earlier, the Emissions light isn't connected to the computer.

IMHO the best thing to do is find that little box (apparently accessible through the glove
compartment) and reset the thing, I'd imagine the resetting would have to be done with the
ignition ON.
