Hey all just bought an 89 b2 was wondering was the first thing I should to to make it better offroad?

welcome to fte!!! well first of all bIIs are amazing off roaders the way they are imo...but i would start with some good tires like cooper st tires...there are lots of other things you can do but it all depends on buget and such and what type of wheeling you want to do

Its got a small lift and 32 inch kumho road ventures.I mainly will be using it for daily road use and light weekend wheeling.

I was wondering what I should cover or avoid spraying in the engine bay?I want to spray it off with sOme engine degreaser

cover the battery and the distibutor for sure i think you will be fine after that

Ok.yeah it's all mud covered tryin to clean it up a bit to look for a small oil leak. I was also wondering should I change all the differential fluids and man. Trans. Or just leave them?will it hurt to do drain and fills

that i dont know for sure.. but it is always good to change your fluids..

Yeah I know that the trans seems to kind of grind a gear or two I don't know if the clutch isn't fully engaging or if the fluid is worn out and not really doin anything

yeah could be some really old fluid in the tranny...from my experiance, i think prolly 80% of people never change or check the fluid in a manuall trans. Good luck with the bronco II

Yeah.I worked at a lube shop and am pretty knowledgable about vehicles.I just dnt want to replace it and have bigger issues

Well I've always personally been leery about changing trans. Fluids. I'm just afraid for some reason id replace it and the trans. Would act up

right..i have heard of that but on much older vehicals...like some gunk was acting like a seal, but when the gunk was drained out, opps...there goes the seal...
