x3 on teh cat. But check the easy stuff first and give 'er a good tune up.
Trail rig? You going to start tryin to keep up with Kris' JEEP - O - DEATH ?
Haha well idk bout trying to keep up but its just gonna be a fun little toy was sizing the tires up againt it today may not lift it may just cut them ugly *** fender flairs out of it and see where that does for it
i think with the unit body b/s you kind of have to lift it for 33's. can't really cut that much on them because it gets into structural parts, otherwise guys would be chopping them more.
Them ugly *** fender flairs are plastic anyways i may have to do a small amount of lift but well see ill have to get the tires switched onto the Jeep rims to put them on since there still on the toyota/chevy rims
they are when you end up cutting out pinch welds and body seams :flipoff:
if it was as easy as just chopping wells and boom 33's fit everyone would be doing it. they have tiny crappy wheelwells. even with a 3 1/2'' lift you need to trim to have 33's fit and if you have the wrong offset in your rims with 12.50's or wider you're still rubbing big time.
check your resistor on your left fender make sure its not cracked it will send a effed signal to yer pump.
btw i did get pics im just being lazy and not unloading them from my phone. what a pain in the a..pull sd card insert sd to comp download to garage copy paste link to garage for post....ehhhh im just felling laz eee but trust me it works, we didnt trim or cut it off we snip lines and bent them back so the fenders didnt get all floppy like.
You might want to try using this method for cutting and folding your wheel wells. I have an XJ that the p.o. went at it with a sawzall and yeah, I can fit 35's on it, but it's rusting out from mud getting packed up inside the body since the body panels are separated.
