Front Axle Pivot Drop Brackets

I recently purchased axle pivot drop brackets from BroncoGraveYard and am having issues with the installation. I was able to get the one that bolts into the drivers side however the passenger side doesn’t line up with the bolt holes. Has anyone installed this kit before? Its Front Axle Pivot Drop Brackets, 4-6" Lift Item #33514 1980-96 Ford Bronco 1980-96 Ford F100/150. I own a 95 F150 4X4. Thanks<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

I'm going to assume that these are the Superlift drop brackets.

I'm a bit confused b/c there is a couple ways to look at this. Which bracket are you working on? The on physically on the passenger side of the truck with 4 bolts(holds driver side beam) or are you working on the driver side of the truck(holds the passenger side beam)??

I had no problems with my drop brackets. The one on the passenger side(for driver side beam) bolts in using factory hardware. The driver side(for passenger side beam) you have to drill 2 holes in the bottom of the crossmember for the bracket to bolt up. It uses only one of the factory bolt holes.

I can get you pics of mine if needed.

Thanks for the response. The way you explained it was perfect. I had no idea I had to drill any holes and that’s why I was confused. Pictures would be great. Thanks again!

That bracket is pretty close to the one I have. The one I have doesn't have the two holes lined up like yours. They are staggered.

I would think so. The kit didnt come with any kind of instructions or template for the drilling so im just going to make one. I just wanted to make sure drilling was involved and it wasnt just bolt in. Thanks again for your help.

I didn't use any kind of template for mine. Just bolted the bracket in there with the one stock bolt, lined it up how it needed to be and drilled the 2 holes that needed drilling. I did have to use a 90* drill b/c my drill wouldn't fit in there straight. PITA, but got the job done.
