f250 centercaps

I have a 00X v10 2WD. I got a set of stock 20's off a 2009 f250. I ordered new lugs for the wheels and have them mounted but the center caps won't fit. I trimmed the chrome tabs around the bottom thinking that was the culprit but they still won't fit.

I can get them 3/4 of the way on if I hit them really hard but not all the way one. Anyone had any luck or know tricks to get them to fit?

I don't have my stock centers or I would put them on instead.
