not understanding a simple problem????
I am working on a 89 f350 for a friend, the wait to start lamp stays on after start. knew controller and new relay, all is wired corectly. installed knew glow plugs. truck starts and runs great just can't get this stupid light to go off.
need help please!!!!!!

Not 100% sure, but i think the relay grounds the light. If that's true then you're looking at a wire grounding out between the light and the relay.
If i'm backwards then you might want to verify that it's not actually sticking on... voltmeter or a test light can tell you that...
