Angry EOP switch on 2003

cant seem to get my EOP switch out, guessing its a bad one sense it doesnt have good readings on the dash. what did you fellow 6.0 drivers do to get it out? i removed the intake and still struggled.

you mean the sending unit. it on the top of the oil cooler. no need to remove anything

the sensor in between the fuel filter and the turbo, black wire. im having a haaaard time getting it out, i took out the intake to get to it

the intake or the air filter....
you can just remove the turbo feed line if thats in the way.

you talkn about the intake piping inbetween the filter and turbo?

litte metal line...
the top bolts to the turbo the bottom bolts to the oil cooler right were the pressure swich is

i can remove that without making a mess?! with that out of the way life would be 10 times easier

ya theres only oil pressure in that line when the truck is running. so make sure you put it back on. the paper gasket is reusable as long as it done not get damaged.

I can attest that failing to put it back on and starting the engine make a rather large mess.

IIRC a 27mm deep but Im not sure. they dont fail that often. If the sender doesnt fix your issue be sure to post back up and I can offer some more direction.

it can be a pain. just wiggle it while lifing up at the base. this is assuming that you have a later version that is not a snap in to the oil cooler.
you may just try to unbolt it from the turbo and swing it out of the way as it will rotate in the housing.
