I was doing my first oil change today, and was doing a little inspection and found two zerk fittings on the front axle u-joints. So my question comes, where are the rest of them? And how frequently are you greasing them. I did a search on this, but the topic has never been posted. I found that odd for a group of men that care so dearly for their trucks!

I think on my 05 those were the only 2 zerks on the truck. All the suspension stuff now is sealed or "lifetime". You can drill and tap stuff to put zerks in if you're so inclined.
The Zerk fitting queries and threads have been going on the last few years mostly with concerns like yours, "Where are they and why aren't there more?"
The threads usually die because there are no grease points anymore (except those 2).
Then we all argue about why Ford has cut so many corners, made "planned failure" engineering so that we have to keep buying worn out parts, etc.....
I'm not tearing you down, just giving you the poop and responding to your statement that as much as we kibble over the little things on our trucks, how could we miss this one.....
Now, after the rain today, I'll go hit the dozen or so on my John Deere. Thanks for the reminder.
