Yes, I have same issues sort of, while towing from Texas to Colorado, I to had the message appear Reduced Engine Power, and in Denver traffic finally pulled over, shut down and restarted and was able to make it to my destination. Also had over the limit exhaust. Took to Dealer in Denver reprogrammed the PCM made it to Colorado Springs had same issues went to dealer in Colorado Springs reprogrammed PM left there went to Rocky Ford Colorado, and when I left there had same issues. Limped it back to El Paso, where I put back in Dealer, now they tell me that PCM is bad and Turbo is bad, ordered. 6900 miles on my 2015 Ford F350. I don't think they have figured out program for towing as of yet truck runs perfect with no load. Also happened prior to this while towing a boat took to dealer said can't find anything wrong with it. I did not have leaking diesel... Parts on order today, keeping my fingers crossed, I believe they are guessing.
Nice resurrection of a 4.5 year old thread.
Sorry you are having troubles with your new truck.
I hate it when the dealer is guessing !
Let us know how it turns out.

Welcome to the forum, DWB 2015 Ford F350. I'm the Ford Service rep here; I'd like to escalate this to your regional customer service manager so they can help get you back on the road again. Since you're a new member, you may not have PM access yet. Send an email to custserv@ford.com with your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, current mileage, and servicing dealership. Put my name ("Crystal") in the subject line and post here once you've sent it. I'll get things moving in the right direction.
New to the forum and as a 2011 F350 6.7 Diesel Dually. Bought used in Feb 2016 with 76K miles. Have had 8 Reduced Power issues. First Ford Dealer could not find any error codes, said probably bad fuel. Next time went back to same dealer, same result. Next did some online researching and discovered issue could be with EGT sensors, sense there were no error codes, I decided to put 4 new EGT sensors in and pay for it myself. Well on April 22, 2016 when we departed for a 6 week trip to the Grand Canyon we got 350 miles down the road and again "Reduced Engine Power" as we were pulling our 36' Travel Trailer up a hill. Was able to get to the shoulder of the road before completely shutting down. This same issue happened 5 more times until we reached Sedona, AZ. Took the F350 to the Ford Dealer in Camp Verde, AZ. They ran the Diagnosis and there was an error code P0087 and they performed a Pin Point test on the Low Pressure Fuel Pump. $900+ later I drove out with a new Low Pressure Fuel Pump on May 4th thinking problem fixed. We drove around Sedona for 3 days sight seeing, no issues. May 7th hooked up TT to head north up Interstate 17 to the Grand Canyon. As we turned up the on ramp and I stepped on the accelerator all seemed good, until the engine needed more power going up the hill, then it went into Reduced Engine Power, we were able to get to the road shoulder. Of course I couldn't believe it. Waited about 1 minute was able to start back up, however went no more than another 1/4th mile up the hill and same thing.
Was able to get turned around and now back at an RV Park and will be taking back to Ford Dealer in Camp Verde, AZ on Monday for them to do further diagnosis to find the problem.
I also filed a complaint with NHDTSA and with FoMoCo. The later not being very helpful.
I apologize for the long post but if anyone has any suggestions to help solve this issue I would be very grateful for your suggestions. I like this F350 and really hope to be able to get it running correctly.
might have them pull the fuel tank and check the sending unit and pickup tube for something like the little paper that is on the inside of the lid for fuel additives.
Try to go in with as little fuel as you can and have them drop the tank and have a look.
Make sure fuel filters have been changed or at last clean and the o-ring on the bottom frame mounted filter is in good shape (not kinked). It's a pain to diagnose because it sucks air, not leaks fluid... I would do this before dropping the tank. Usually this isn't a problem, but also check the engine mounted fuel filter too.
Senix has a good thought too - since the truck is "new to you", you don't know if the previous owner used diesel additive and that little stupid piece of paper in the bottle cap falls into the tank. It floats around and is the perfect size to almost block the pickup tube. When you shut the truck off it falls back down into the tank again. You wouldn't be the first one to become of "victim" of that either.
I hope it is one of those reasons above as those are the cheapest and easiest to fix. It starts getting complicated and expensive after those.

Welcome to FTE, hope this is helpful.
Thanks. I will bring this up when I take it in on Monday. Will let you know what they find out.
