Ok, need some help on the nut torque for the 4 studs that attach the unit bearing to the knuckle. I've read in multiple places here that the torque should be like 133 ft-lbs torque. BUT, in the manual for my 99' F250 (OE Helm manual for F250-F550), it states 55 ft-lbs!! So, which is it.
I'm going with the 133ft-lb's with my changeout but this is a great question and why the difference in torque values, more early birds should be by soon...hopefully to explain.
Well I've updated the front end from the knuckles out to the 99.5', but the different hubs were a direct swap.
Perhaps it's my HELM manual, early print or something. I did a double take on the value, but the manual is consistent, 55ft-lb on the picture (4x4 front suspension), and in the specifications table at the end of the chapter.
