I'd think you could run a 12V cooler in there and have a beer fridge for tailgating!
Must consider a barn door mod for storing all the tools and tow straps. In the door and locked would also put them out of sight and make it hard to grab by thieves. Right now all they need to do is grab my tool box and POOF goes my tools in 2 seconds flat. Hmmmm mod options hmmm...
I like this idea too.
I think you'll want to build a water-tight enclosure inside the barn doors? It seems like there are holes on top & bottom not sure how much water gets inside but...
It be bad to need your gloves to find them full of mildew and any tools in there all rusted.

Get ammo boxes to put the tools and whatnot in. We use them in our boats all the time for tools and spare parts.
Anybody standing on their barn doors will pretty soon be on this forum wondering why their barn doors are leaking, or don't close right or don't line up, and looking for a quick fix or replacement parts.
Thats what I thought too but I didn't know what to say. Some people just do what they do with vehicles. There are lots of times I will be with people that just use their vehicle to use it. They'll throw the keys or something on the hood/roof, stand on their window sills on the doors to reach something, stand on their painted bumper to reach something, stand on their trunk, etc. I just cringe.
This is for nicer or newer vehicles. POS's are expected to get that treatment, doesn't bother me then.

Good point, but to each his/her own. I rather buy a used Ex with saggy barn doors (could I get a pic of that 200lb *** sittin' on an open barn door?) than an Ex without the basic maintenance it needed. Key is to know one from the other before buying. Someone out there has a 2005 Ex with 100 miles on the odo and wrapped in a bag in Arizona. Go for it it that does it for you. I'd rather go trail ridin' with the kids in the desert or forest with some scratched paint, well used interior, fish crackers under the car seat, ding'd fender/bumper and take some great memories with me to the grave rather than leave a prisine Ex to my relatives who'll sell it off to buy the latest fad electronic gadget. It's a tool, not a museum piece IMO.
