water leaks into cab
I found the floor rusted out in my 85 F150,,,I found water had leaked into cab from somewhere when it rained. Anyone else have this problem..This is not the first Ford I have had to replace the driver side floor.

My 85 F150 does this too. In my case, the culprit is crystal clear. It is the seal around the windshield. When I am driving on rainy days, I will actually have an occasional drop of water roll down the inside of the windshield. My windshield just happens to also have a glaring crack straight down the middle too. I'll be replacing it when I get my income tax refund... I suspect it will solve the leaking issue.

All Fords i've ever had have all had leaks into the cab.
Most common places:
Fire wall plugs for power window/locks harness (not common for leaks with manual windows/locks)
Rear window seal
And the most overlooked one, the rain gutters just over the doors.
My 1989 F150 was leaking from the back window, and leaking down the back wall of the cab (it's a custom so no liner back there) so it was easy to see.
After sealing that up, was still leaking back there, but not from the window. Was dripping by the front pillar and in the seat belt retractor.
So I inspected the rain gutters and found there was a tiny crack all along in the gutter where the roof comes down in it.
I filled it with sealant and has been leak free since!

Windshield just replaced and rear window is slider and does not leak..Seems to come in around the kick panel. I thought I had found the culprit area when I replaced the windshield. I cant hose the truck down with water for a month or so,,,too cold up here.

Also down in the cowl area there is a seam that when the sealer dries up it will put water right on the floor board.

last fall i had the cowl off to clean out and I put seam sealer down in there as I thought that was where it was coming from. All the seam sealer in there was dried and cracked.
