Cab water leaks
Cab water leaks
Let me start of by saying that there are some areas of our trucks that were destined to fail from the day it rolled off the assembly line. Thanks to all the guys who have posted as to where they found their leaks. Thankfully I have found all of them before I had anything more than a couple small spots of surface rust on the floors. I would REALLY like the name and address of the FORD engineer or bean counter who decided that some injectable foam was a good idea at the bottoms of the Supercabs under the window. REALLY. What a stupid idea. "Let's make it so WHEN it leaks here, it will NEVER dry out." Thanks for letting me vent, LOL.
It's almost comical the amount of seam sealer used on these trucks to fill assembly holes. I had two spots, one on each side, that when I got all the sealer out I could literally put a 5/16" bolt into the inside. Ridiculous. Trust me guys. You might want to look at some your seam sealer. I will try in a few days to get some pics together and do a short write-up.
