Cat Delete
Hello everyone, Ive been poking around on here the last couple days and decided to put a straight pipe on my truck. I know having the muffler gone is beneficial to the vehicle but i am curious as to if the cat converter can be eliminated also. If it can be, what will go in its place and how will it affect the sound of the truck? Thanks.

I have smog checks so I just put my cat back on when I need to.

Just don't forget that the removal of the cat isn't just a state emissions requirement, it is a FEDERAL requirement. BIG fine if caught ...... agreed that not many are, but think you ought to be aware.
