Hazard light/4-way flasher

I'v read all the posts on this subject, but haven't found anything that has enabled me to solve the problem on my '76 F350 camper special supercab with 460/C6. My turn signals work fine, as do all the other lights except for the hazard lights. I've replaced the hazard flasher, and that did not solve the problem. I believe it's the switch on the right side of the steering column, but before I invest in a new one and pull the steering wheel, can anyone suggest something else to check first.

Any and all suggestions would be appreciated. Also, if anyone has a source for the switch, I'd like to know that, too.

Remove the hazard flasher, and check for power at the socket. According to my wiring diagram, the terminal from the RED wire should be hot-at-all-times from the fuse panel. The turn signal switch's job is to route cycled power from the flasher to the four lights with the hazard switch pulled out. Once the switch is pulled out, the load from the lights is connected to the flasher, and the current passing through the flasher is what makes it turn off and on. If you have power to the flasher, yet the lights do not come on with the switch engaged (yet work otherwise), I would suspect the turn signal switch.

Your brake lights work fine, correct?
