1972 F100, 302, 3speed manual, Need to replace my clutch. Ive always been an automatic guy and im not to sure what else i should replace while i have the trans out? Flywheel, pressure plate.....Also anything basic i can replace on the trans too. Any help would be great, also a good one stop parts place to order from. Thanks
Flywheel maybe can be resurfaced rather than replaced. Machine shop can help you make the call. Whenever I've done a clutch I've always replaced the pressure plate, disc, throwout bearing and input shaft pilot bushing. IMHO it's false economy to save a couple bucks and few extra minutes labor because the 'throwout bearing sounds good' and the pilot bushing 'doesn't seem to be worn'. You're already in there and probably don't want to go back soon, right?
Clutch fork another that always gets replaced.
Along with the pivot ball.
The name eludes me right now but the part that the throwout bearing rides on and bolts to the tranny.
It can get worn and cause funky shifting.

Interesting. I had forgotten about the pivot ball - I've replaced a couple of those but it's not an always thing; it's a 'gee, my clutch sure is wonky and sometimes hard to actuate' but I can't recall ever replacing the clutch fork itself. It probably happened on some job I did but my memory isn't what it used to be and I haven't made a living with my wrenches for 15 years.
All the above are good suggestions.....The clutch forks will wear in the area where the throw out bearing contacts it as well as where the pivot ball contacts it. I have replaced a few over the years. Also sometimes the spring clips that hold the throw out bearing will be worn off, usually due to someone installing it who didnt have a clue to what they were doing. I always take a look at the input seal on the trans as well. If it looks like its been leaking, nows the time to replace it. Rear main seal on the engine as well............A whole different can of worms, but you can get a good look at it while the trans and flywheel are out. Its also a good time to inspect the rest of the clutch linkage and correct any issues, its all just easier to get to while the tranny is out.
