The stuff at work is usually alot lot worse than your truck petey. It's not too awful bad.

Nah I've already done that with a 6.0
how about 5 minute nitrous install lessons?
And did you look AT my truck or did you look under my truck? It looks fine from 100 feet away. Go under it and tell me it's not bad...

Yes I know what your truck looks like underneath. Thats the way stuff is underground at work. 100% humidity and its like throwing parts in saltwater. Let me put it to you this way-I don't wipe the oil or grease off my tools because that will rust within 5 days if I clean them.

Based on Comps spec sheet if you install and shim to spec you will have 125lb seat pressure. Page 3 of 6 the 3rd in from the far right #910
If you have the time and want to do it "the correct way" you should measure each one and use a combo of shims if needed to get them all as close to the same height as possible.
It could take different shim sizes depending on wear. Jegs has a variety pack of harden shims 16 per size 0.015, 0.030, 0.060 Jegs Part #555-20591 That with a valve spring micrometer Jegs # 555-80535 and you can shim them all to the correct height. You will then know what you have. They have a 1.28 max bind height and maybe someone else can given the amount of lift from the stock cam then you could error on the side of slightly lower height and get more seat pressure. Key is you want a safety margin between max bind height and the actual height. something like 1.685-1.700 I seem to recall. But you NEED to Double check that number from someone that knows for sure. That would put it somewhere around 150lb.

Thanks for copying that info over here Ron. I have had that post from PSN saved since it was posted in January. I am planning on putting springs in when I do my injectors in a couple of weeks. With 250K+ on my motor I figure my stockers are pretty worn at this point.

If you really want to go there Ron...
You were never "told". You never posted in that thread on PSN. You saw a thread here, did some searching there, copied and pasted to make yourself look good. I tried to give credit properly without making you look bad but that wasn't enough for you.
Sorry.

I bet you'll find I post in other threads right after other people too. Do I follow them around too? Not to mention in that thread you posted 3 or 4 times, I only posted once, after someone else. Maybe I was following them.
