I just bought some from NAPA. They are top of the line Precision Premium U-Joints, who are owned by Federal-Mogul, which also owns MOOG and Fel-Pro. That kind of pedigree is good enough for me. The u-joints look and feel bulletproof. They have a lifetime warranty and come with a grease zerk.

Good Luck

You may need to grease your slip yoke in the driveshaft. Do a search in the forum and you will find how to do it. Good luck.

I had to do the driveline in my 02 a few years ago, after owning my own trucking company for 20+ years I use Spicer driveline parts, greasable!
I have 190*** miles on my 2000 X and have been thinking about doing the drivelive when I reach 200*** miles.

How many miles does everybody have on there oridginal u-joints?

Check your slip yoke on the drive shaft for grease. Even with ok U joints, the clunk/ring is part of owning an older vehicle, you can 'baby' that issue for a long time IMO.
