Yes it me again.Still haveing mpg probs.
92 f150 4.9 aut. with od . Burns no oil and runs perfect
Last year ,replaced the fuel filter and pump. Getting 22-23 mpg.
This year had to replace , control module,coil, wires, map sensor,oxygen sensor,plugs.Now if i baby it , drive 55-60 i get 14 mpg.Allso blocked the egr off cause it was loafing, now its not.Allso ran two bottles of injection cleaner through it. Allso has new tires,235 x 15 and cat is good and new exhaust. What oh what shall I do next? Should I trade it for a ****vy(chevy)?? I am at a lost and cannot afford to buy that much gas. Any ideas will be deeply appreciated. PLEASE help me. Thanks, rick
if u want more MPG then a fullsize isnt going to cut it. might as well get a civic if u want gas milage cuz a 300/auto averages between 12-16 depeding on model, 2 or 4 wheel drive, etc...
