Thanks, that is one step closer.I was hoping that there would just be a couple of extra plugs for the auto and could use my covers.Mine has been loose for a long time it looks like.I thought the easiest and quickest to get it on the road would be a swap but seems everything is auto columns.
Maybe someone else has done this swap and will reply.
Thank You
Thanks, guess I should do that,I went threw 4 trucks in the last couple of months.every time i have some time i buy another truck.plan on keeping this one as this 96 crew cab long box psd manual took a long time to find up here.it will be a work in progress though.
I don't have it apart completely due to the weather but it looks like it has damaged the aluminum as it has been this way a long time as it was a service truck on a farm with no one person looking after it.Truck will be work in progress for awhile.
Who knows what the kids played in the truck ! With the wind and snow blowing was thinking maybe just ripping out this column tonight and geting it in the shop to take a better look as it needs to come out any ways.Anything to look out for while removal.how big a job is it ?
No problem, that alot of help already.I just thought of it here that I am planing on switching my seat from my xlt so if I remove the seat and put a small heater in there it will give me alot of room to work.I will be on the dyno for the next couple of days so won't have time untill sunday to get at it and it looks like a little warmer weather coming.Got two months before race season begins for my boys but with needing to rebuild the front end etc it will be a fast two months.
thanks for your time.
