My impression is that there are more differences between the various generations than between an E150 and an E350 of the same generation.

Well i drove it home today.
Lots of power but very noisy in the cab.
Gear shift levers kinda funny ................gotta wiggle it around to get it in gear and it doesnt point to the right place (D 1 2 3 etc.)

The two Torx head bolts on the underside of the steering column that hold the shifter are probably loose.

I have a '03 E350 w/5.4. Got it less than a month ago. I've driven Chevy Express vans for the past 5 years.

The gear indicator points little wrong on my van too and has on every rental Econoline I've driven. Gives them character

I have an 01 E350 HD extended 15 passenger, bought 4 1/2 years ago. Van has been converted to being a cargo van, keeping the interior panels along with the rear A/C.
