Talking pick-coil

1994 f250 7.5L 4x4 truck would die sometimes sit for a few start back up.thought it was fuel problem but i was getting no spark.new coil ,cap, rotor,plug wires. not cheap ones best napa had, no change replaced pick-up coil started right up next day would hardly run out of time?i`m no machanic, parts changer love my big gas hog bad *** ford. please help

Your truck is fuel injected. You need to pull the codes. You can buy a cheap $20 code reader to do it(you have a pre-96 EECIV) or go to Ford Fuel Injection and they will show you how to pull the codes with a meter or testlight. Sorry, you can't just change parts on the later fuel injected vehicles. With a little time and research, you can get it, don't let the computer stuff intimidate you.

pick-up coil

thanks for info.the biggest problem i have with my truck is the dumb *** machanic(me)that keeps working on it.94 f250 4x4 7.5L c-6 36x13.50 swampers iroc,102,000 miles.basicly stock it will run 120 pulling 18 foot trailer loaded down+great mph

When you replaced the PIP sensor that was on the stator assembly inside the distributor (a 1994 does not have a pick-up-coil, that ended in the mid 80's with DuraSpark-II) you had to take out the distributor.
When you put the distributor back in did you remove the SPOUT shorting bar when you timed it with a timing light.

If you did not remove the SPOUT shorting bar (jumper) or use a timing light then that is your problems.
When doing so set it to 10 degrees BTDC and then put the SPOUT back in.
