85 f150 4.9 missing

my 85 started missing friday on the way home from work. intermitent .so over weekend changed plugs ran fine till i was 30 miles in to my trip to work yesterday. seams to start missing after 30 miles do any of you gurus have any ideas ? i believe the square coil may be breaking down when it gets warm .or maybe the magnettic pick up in coil any ideas would be appreciated thanks .

Pull the plugs again and look at them. If one of them is fouled, that's your miss. Could be oil or coolant fouling the plug.

problem solved

the magnetic pick up on and in the distributor was advancing the timing and retarding sporatically . with no or little load on engine thank you .
