2005 Securilock Problems
I have an 05 f150 and i'm having trouble with my securilock. It will randomly not let my truck start. Sometimes one key won't work and anothe will start it then sometimes none of the keys will work. I don't have any Exxon or Mobile speedpass things or anything like that. I've already replaced my transceiver and the P.A.T.S. module is $206 and i don't want to shell out that plus the maintenance fee which is probably another 200. If I bought a remote start system and put that and the bypass on it, does anybody know if installing the bypass would work. a 70 dollar bypass is a lot cheaper than going with the ford option. The keys aren't damaged or anything either. I'm at my wits end. I have found that if I let my truck sit for a little bit sometimes it will work but I can't afford to sit around in parking lots for 20 mins while my truck makes up it's mind on wheter to start or not.
