Yeah I actually I think my catalog is pretty old it may be well out of date! If John's Has them chances are the prices will be much better anyway. That has been my experience so far, except with the CPP products The truck shop also has a division called teh Car Shop, which is primarily CHEVY cars, and ford Mustang parts, but on any given day, most of teh customers there are buying CHEBBY parts! I was there a few weeks ago, and guy asked why there are not a lot of people in there buying ford parts, and in a large crowd of CHEBBY guys, I sayed" because the Fords actually run" Well all of the ford guys got a good giggle out of it!
hahahaha aint that the truth
Ill give em a call tomorrow to check and see. Hopefully they have some in stock if not im gonna have to order from Johns and wait for em to come in. i already checked the pull a part yards up here in Ventura and called the ppl i could find with parts trucks but no one has the brackets im looking for
i just called the truck shop and they dont carry the 57-63 styleside brackets so im going to have to order thru johns unless anyone knows of another vendor that has them
well, i guess you get to be the guinea pig... please let us know how much they are and if your happy with them. maybe they will have a run on bumper brackets!
hahaha i guess so im hoping theyll come in while im in Ventura for spring break so i can install everything while im there. ill post pictures when i get them. Who has better bumpers NPD or LMC?
Actually now that I think about it, when I got my front bumper Rock auto Showed two brands, one was listed as foreign ( or other manufacturers) made, the other did not say where, but was a bit higher priced, by about 4 bucks. I got the Higher priced one, which actually has a very nice finish on it. Some bumpers you can see where the plating went over sanding and or grinding marks, as though they didn't prep it very well, but the one I bought is like a mirror, both on the facing surface, and very nice on the inner surface also. It is manufactured by Shermann
i ordered the brackets from JOhns and ordered a repop bumper from NPD. Bumper should be in to the Ventura warehouse in a few days. The brackets are supposed to be delivered to my house by the end of next week. ill post pictures of the brackets and the final results as soon as i get back in town for spring break
Well seeing as the brackets for a 48 to 72 flairside are the same basic brackets as the 57to 60 styleside and 61 to 63 Uni rear bumper brackets John's has quite a lock on the product. /S

Garbz
Garbz I thought that might be the case. How close to the flairside brackets are they?
Very Similar in fact so similar that they are almost the same.
The bolt spread is the same for the bumper bolts. slight difference is in the frame mounting holes. You may or may not need to drill new holes in the frame to accomidate.
48 to 72 frames are 34 inches wide on all F100 and F250s.
