when i wet to change my oil i use a wrenck pop out the plug and when i put it back in it just keep spining it was flush i used a wrench and i was carfull not to over tighting it if i strip it do i have to replace the drina pian it donst leack out i croved it in duck tape so it dosnt fall out are there any easy fixes for this im kind scard to drive the truck right know
im guessing if you look at the plug the threads are hashed. sbhould be easy fix just replace the plug with new original. if the threads on the plug are good then yes you will need to rethread the pan and oversize plug
no just get a bolt with smaller size threads and put a washer on it, then smear it with the ultra grey or similar silicone. let it cure mostly, then pull the old one and slam this one in with the same duct tape idea and it will hold long enough to get the job done. Or just drain it into a clean container. container might be easier! lol

Yeah, a lot easier, lol - just get a 5 gallon bucket.
ive never seen the inside of one of these pans but on my old 351 it had a triangle shaped "nut" with the corners spot welded to the bottom of the pan the welds broke loose and the plug would just spin up in there and could never get it tight so i put one of those special plugs you can get from oriellys worked just fine until the ol girl caught fire (arson..... literally)
weld the nut to the bottom of the pan joe. by the time you get 3-5k miles on it then you can just bring the truck here, we'll unbolt the engine, drop the pan and put in one of my extras. new gasket so it will stop any leaks that you have anyways.
