I have those type of LED strips installed on my boat for lighting and the one that gets the most direct sunlight loses it stick after awhile, and I need to reapply two sided tape so it will stick. I don't know how that type would work under the hood unless you used small zip ties to hold it up
TXtinct where did you get your leds from? Lot of the ones that I see don't seem to be reviewed that well and are you happy with yours? Are they brighter than the orginals. Lots of people say no
Oh yeah, they are brighter. I have no complaints at all. I've done this conversion for about five or six friends and they are all very happy with them. I have enough LED's to supply the FTE army so PM me if you want some and I'll give you the details.
Gotta pick up the youngest daughter but will get back to you in a few, well probably a bit more than a few, gotta get her bring her home, then take her to school because they forgot to stay for pratice. And they say I don't remember sometimes---it's a plot
Cheap leds at menards, glued to the hood liner, hooked into the hood switch for over a year now. It helps a lot at night, as we are always looking under the hood!
