Mobile 15w 40 Does any one use this oil if so what do you think. Also would not mind a filter recomendation. New to the 7.3 game but like playing Thanks.

 

I use Mobil Delvac 15W-40 and the Motorcraft FL-1995 filter. The only other filter I'd even consider using is WIX. This oil has been around for quite a while and there's lots of truckers that I've seen use it. I stock up when they have sales on it at AutoZone near me. I was getting it for $9.99 a gallon this past summer.

 

Hey thanks for the response I posted a more detailed question after this post . Yeah I can get a great deal on it so I have to consider it . What does WIX stand for.

 

all i have ever used is mobile 15w 40 being as thats always what my father got me from where he worked, finally used the last of it last oil change, next ones gonna suck having to buy 16 quarts and the motorcraft fl-1995

 

WIX is a brand

 

We use 15W 40 Delvac 1300 in all of our equipment.

Fine choice for diesel oil.
