whats up guys... i have a question. i need front brake calipers... now the parts store asked me if the weight of the vehicle is 4500 or 5100.... i dont know since the sticker on the door is gone... and the vin doesn't tell me much.. its a "D" which just means vehicle is under 6000 lbs... i need help.
how else would i figure this out? some one told me to measure the inside of the rear drum and i was either looking for an 10" or 11"..... mine measures 12"!... so what else can i do?

if that truck is in the 87-96 year range post in that forum under what the problem is -there are a whole bunch of knowledgeable folks on that thread

what year is the truck? is it a f 100, or an f 150. the 2 types are as follows, f 100 has small calipers, and rotors, and uses a 5 lug by 4 31/2 bolt circle, same as the cars.the f 150 uses the large rotors and calipes, and has a 5 lug x 5" bolt circle, and is the same as all the newer 150's up to 97, and most 5 lug dodge.
Like a stuck pig. Liver and onions, mashed taters, corn, and some kinda noodles, with home made rolls. Strawberrys and whipped cream to finish it off. stuffed me like a Christmas turkey....................
