Good morning all. The 94 developed a rod knock yesterday. Guess it's a good thing I finished the 89, eh? Guess there will be a new series of repair pictures posted soon.

so true. even after rebuilding the motor, I'll still have less money in it than a new truck, and it is paid for....

You know it. Plus the 03 that I bought new left a foul tast in my mouth. Back to the dealer 17 times in a year and a half, they had it for 101 days. Never got it right. Had to take ford to court, I won, they bought the truck back, but it still cost me $8,500. Last new one for me.

We bought the Misses a 2008 VW Jetta off lease with 18K miles on it and saved over 10K from a new one.

no repairs needed, looked brand new, and still under warranty till March 2012.
