Hey I tell ya what - I picked up my full ticket today:
Type 001 - resident fishing and small game (28 bucks)
Type 022 - Resident trout license (18 bucks)
- and of course the annual TWRA lake permit that is good EVERYWHERE!!! (40 bucks)
I'M READY TO GO! (but not when it's raining)
Boat shopping commences monday
You wanna git your trout modification at the same time as your regular license, it's simpler....
The full bag and the real deal - nothing less is tolerable. I got it all and RIGHT NOW!

Looks like "Warcraft" weather to me - the kind where you sit indoors and dope out new strategies for old computer games!
You know what? I'm still going backwards and forwards over what kind of a boat I want. It's driving me outright buggy...
Canoe = no motor = old fashioned and closer to the heritage angle.
Conventional boat = trailer = motor and additional expenses but stability.
I just won't know until I actually go and look at what there is.
