broken rod bolts

Hi I'm in the process of putting my 6.9 back together, and one thing kind of bugs me, when I tore the engine down 2 of my connecting rod bolts broke when I loosened them, engine only had 100,000 on it. I was wondering if anyone else has seen this also what grade of bolt came from the factory? Thank You for your time

Actually, I never payed attention when I last had one of these apart. Couls very well be a standard grade 8 alloy. I would feel better with all new bolts though.

Ya I'm defiantely replacing all of them had a hard time finding them 2 Napa stores could'nt find them, or 1 checker( but the only thing that ever fit from checker was a air freshener as far as I have found) a local mechanic ordered them through Pioneer. Thanks
