Not unless you lined up Ford Credit as your financing. But what you can do is have Ford credit finance $5K (min) of your purchase and pay it off the next month. You might pay $100 in intrest but save $1000 on the incentive.
Clever idea, thank you. I just checked the page again and I don't see anything about a minimum loan amount, so I think this is a reasonable proposition.
The only danger in locking the incentives is that they may come out with new ones. In my case that happened and they also gave the new one of another thousand dollars off. When my truck almost didn't arrive in time I was going to pay for it the last day of the month before that particular incentive went away. Yes my dealer is Pingry Ford in Washington State.

They had told me they would give me the larger incentive if it had increased. One dealer on the West Side told me that incentives usually increase as the year goes on. But I have seen some exceptions. How is your weather today? I am at my property in near the crest of the Cascades and we have 10" of new snow. It was 3 degrees Friday night which made the snowcat ride it kinda chilly.

It has been cold the last few nights but is showing a warming trend this week. We have no snow here in the valley.
You never know what incentives are going to be, ordering without them would be a big gamble for me. With oil prices going up and economy going in the tank it is a big gamble to think incentives will stay the same or get better

Every Ford dealer in the US has the ability to lock the incentives for you. This only means that you'll receive the locked in incentives or the incentives at the time of delivery....whichever is higher.
With oil going higher the advantage is in our court at least as far as incentives. Higher fuel prices means consumers stop buying big ticket items like $50,000 trucks which means inventory sits on lots which (hopefully) causes manufacturers to do things to push consumers into buying. In 2008 you could get $14K off list on any Ford diesel without any haggling....if you haggled a little you could do ever better....sometimes as much as $18K off list from a dealer with a lot of inventory.
With the world seemingly spinning down I'd suggest that if you can wait, you should. You could stand to save a boatload of money.
