Battery relocation question

I'll be underneath on the frame by the pass. door with the batteries so I'll run grounds to the best accessible place on the engine and to the frame. I'm going to build an 1/8" steel sealed box for the most part, drill a couple water drain holes in it so nothing can sit in there and put remote positive and negative hookups on the box to hook jumpers to without having to get in the box.
